If you hear growling then it means your cat is angry and it is best to leave a cat like this alone. if your cat gives a sharp meow when you are holding your cat or if you cat is in dsconfort.cats will also yowl if they are angy. if your cat is hissing it is fearful so you should leave this cat alone.Finally if your cat suddenly bites you when you are petting them that means they are over stimulated and should be left alone without being pet.
